We are having a wonderful summer here in Ireland, the sun is shining and everyone’s in a great mood. A heat wave is definitely something we are not used to getting. Sometimes it’s hard to keep hydrated throughout the day and at the moment as it’s hot and sunny, it’s even harder. So, today I wanted to share some really simple and easy water infused recipes for this hot weather. It is advised that we should drink about 2 litres or 8 glasses of water every day. I tend to find that a bit boring and so I like to add some fruit and herbs to a plain glass of water. It will help you to stay hydrated during the day with an extra fruity taste. The raspberries, strawberries, and the herbs rosemary, basil and mint are plants growing in my little kitchen garden and are so easy to grow.
Recipes
From right to left on the main picture there is…
- Lemon, Rosemary, and Raspberries
- Orange and Blueberries
- Strawberries, Lime and Mint
- Strawberries, Raspberries, and Basil
They were all really yummy but my personal favourite has to be the first one with lemon, rosemary, and raspberries.
